The Challenge

Lack of standardization between Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) results in products communicating through a variety of communication protocols and producing data in different formats. In most use cases, a variety of product are used, therefore, an intense integration process is required to connect and collect data from all the machines and sensors. A centralized database or platform requires access to data through a specific communication protocol and applications require the data structured in specific structure.

Traditional Solution

The traditional way to connect machines and sensors to a centralized platform is to purchase a physical or software gateway that can communicate over the required communication protocols (Input and Output), and to manually develop adapters to convert each data structure to a unified structure that the cloud platform can understand and process. This is a costly and time consuming process with less availability of predeveloped adapters for all the machines in the market.

Automatic Connectivity Generator (ACG) leverages AI to extract meaningful time series data from any incoming data stream, both previously observed and unobserved, comprising different data formats and communication protocols. The collected data is normalized into a unified format by Siraj AI engine that automatically creates conversion rules also called adapters.
