In the last decade, Israel has seen a boom in population, economic growth, and the
development of a strong and dynamic academic sector. These factors, along with a dash of the Israeli “chutzpah”, have powered Israel into becoming a hotbed of innovation, and a leading key player in entrepreneurship and tech.

EIT Hub Israel consists of a dynamic, highly skilled local team, working to build a pan European & Israel ecosystem by creating a two-way partnership between the EIT and leading Israeli stakeholders.

In less than 2 years of operation, the hub has succeeded in creating substantial impact within the EIT community and continues to offer training, matchmaking, technology scouting, startup support, soft landing and more to the wider European innovation community.

The hub’s flagship programmes are:

• Connect and Experience, trains European Ecosystem Managers with tools and methodologies on innovation ecosystem development and creates an organic Cross-KIC and EU-IL community.
• Disrupt Me, is a tailor made scouting and open innovation process for European corporates to access and implement state of the art Israeli technologies.
• Mission:Innovation, is a bootcamp for new European diplomats in Israel offering a full immersion into the Israeli ecosystem, with tools and channels to build and leverage their own innovation networks
• Hub Academy, a new platform offering high level tailored online training and workshops, by demand for interested organizations on topics such as digital event management, commercialization and more.
• Calling2Scale, a highly competitive boutique bootcamp for 12 chosen startups in a product stage from the fields of Health/Food/Climate/Smart Cities/ Manufacturing/ Digital. The bootcamp offers each startup to leverage leading know how and network from Europe, Israel and USA to scale globally.
• SME Innovation Champions, a training for selected European SMEs to equip them with a toolkit to lead innovation [internal and external] in their organization.
