Ignite The Spark is an innovation community that promotes EnergyTech in Israel, with an emphasis on the following topics:
Renewable and conventional energy sources, methods for storing energy, energy saving, infrastructure, digitization and more. The community is a central place for relevant publications on what is happening in the field, and is a source of information, creating connections and finding partners for action.
The Israeli Energytech community arose out of the need to bring together all those who are involved in the field into one place. The community is the central meeting point that allows direct communication and the transfer of information in a simple convenient way.
Today, we are proud to say that the community has 800+ individuals who communicate through the official Facebook, Linkedin and WhatsApp Groups. Additionally, every few weeks community members gather together for an online meetup focused on the issues above. We are proud to have created two sub-communities, Women in Energy and Ignite Academia, each with their own mission to support overall growth of energy tech innovation in Israel.
Our goal is to serve as a community incubator for scientists, business professionals, regulators, academics, investors and entrepreneurs in the field who have created a fruitful and mutually beneficial dialogue thus creating qualitative growth and productive discourse on this important issue that will generate momentum towards a greener future.
